Baby Board Book Collection
Zenzen Descobre is a board book collection created for babies and young children. The visual direction was developed around the idea of creating a clear, engaging and tactile visual language. During the development process, I researched current trends in children’s publishing and explored different approaches to create a distinctive visual identity for the collection. We chose a handmade aesthetic as a way to bring warmth and texture to the project.
The final illustrations combine paper cut-outs and collage using Color Plus paper, digital elements, and colored pencil details. The artwork uses high-contrast, solid colors and simplified compositions with a limited number of elements on each page, helping young children focus on the main visual information.
The result is a playful and tactile visual language that combines the simplicity needed for a baby book with a handmade, contemporary aesthetic.
